Programs That Are Empowering Our Youth

Programs

Our current programs include: healthcare presentations at various schools, including Dayton Boys Prep and Dayton Business Technology High School, a healthy lifestyle and health career after school program at Fairview k-8 school, an e-mentoring program at Ponitz High School, whereby the male Allied Health students are mentored by male health professionals, sponsoring Dayton area students for Good Samaritan’s Intro to Health Careers Day and Health Career Nights , partnering with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for Medical Sciences and Engineering forums, and partnering with Wilberforce University and The National Minority Male Health Project for their annual Camp Healthy Wayz Summer Camp. This year's programming includes college visits, African American male conferences, and sponsoring ACT/SAT fees for our junior students. We have two youth programs, one for high school males and the other for younger males.
The AmiriProject organization reached over one hundred youth last school year, and has touched over three hundred youth, since its inception in 2010.
